Over one-quarter of UK employees said that they never get any form of mandatory training in the workplace.
The DeltaNet International research, which surveyed 1,000 UK-based workers, revealed that 26% receive ‘0 hours’ of ‘mandatory’ training each month, which refers to any type of training and is not optional to attend.
Elsewhere, the study found that 60% had received between just one and ten hours of training.
14% of survey respondents noted that the mandatory training they receive was ineffective, with many saying that they had not been offered any revised education, nor had their awareness within their industry grown as a result of the training.
