Since the pandemic hit, many office workers have become used to working from coffee tables, dining rooms and home offices.
Due to being at home most of the time and not having to commute into work, some employees have been putting in more hours than they would normally back at the office.
In fact, over half of UK employees say that they are working extra hours at home which new research has claimed could mean that they are missing out on more than £4,700 per year – Yahoo! Finance UK reported.
The 2,000-strong survey conducted by Furniture at Work revealed that 52% of respondents admitted to carrying out more hours than expected of them.
