New research has revealed some of the biggest things hampering employee productivity when working from home – which is something that will likely be a top concern for HR professionals.
The data from 8x8 unearthed the work-from-home struggles experienced by employees which included distractions (30%), juggling professional and personal life (29%) and getting into a ‘working mindset’ despite being at home (27%).
In addition to this, qualitative data from the study pointed towards some of the other challenges experienced by remote staff.
Among these challenges were interruptions from noisy pets while on conference calls and eating too much too often – something which may become even more of a distraction in the run up to Christmas with lots of mince pies and chocolate lying around the house.
