New research from OnBuy.com has delved into the most trustworthy accents in the UK.

The study – which polled 2,221 people including employers – discovered that Yorkshire was voted the most trustworthy sounding accent in the UK, garnering 60% of the votes.

According to the data, survey respondents often described the accent as ‘intelligent’ and ‘calming’.
