The pandemic has had a drastic impact on the UK jobs market.
Whilst some have seen the actions of their leaders and resolved to search for a new job as a result, according to the latest data revealed by the ONS, between June and August the unemployment rate within the UK rose by 0.4% to 4.5% overall, meaning over 1.5million people are currently out of work and likely searching for a new role.
This presents a significant opportunity for employers looking to expand their talent pool, however it also raises questions about how desirable many businesses appear to prospective talent.
