Health & safety | Workplace has 'no masks or social distancing'

An employee has taken to Mumsnet claiming that their workplace doesn’t have any social distancing measures in place or face masks to keep people safe.

In a post titled ‘Feel I need to leave my job’, forum user ‘unknownn’ said that they started working at a local café around three months ago and were really enjoying their job.

They wrote: “But they have never worn masks and it’s really starting to upset me. Am I wrong with saying that I thought everywhere had to wear masks now? Or am I missing something. There is no social distancing, no masks, people walking and touching eachother etc (sic).

“I feel sick going into work worried about catching something. I’m so gutted. I feel like I need to leave the job due to this and I’m so upset about it. Is any one else in this situation (sic)?”
