How the latest COVID-19 restrictions change HR

Last week, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson set out new COVID-19 restrictions to combat the rise in coronavirus cases in England.

Within this, office workers in England were told to work from home if they can and staff in retail and indoor hospitality venues were informed that they now have to wear masks in their workplace.

In addition, COVID-secure workplace rules will now become a legal obligation for employers in a variety of industry sectors. And, perhaps most headline-making, pubs, bars and restaurants in England must close at 10pm.
