Employees have shared the strange reasons that they have been fired from previous job roles in a viral Twitter hashtag trend called #AndThenIWasFired.

The Daily Mail reported that the Twitter account @HashtageRoundup started up the hashtag in 2019 after asking social media users to share details of what they did at work that got them fired.

But, it seems that people are still continuing to share stories of things that saw them get the boot.

So, HR Grapevine has collated a list of five of the strangest reasons employees claim to have been fired for.
