40% Brits claim they have been more productive at home

40% of workers say they have been more productive during the lockdown period, new research has found.

Vodafone’s data, which surveyed 1,003 small business employees, revealed that working from home has boosted employee productivity rather than hindered it.

In fact, the study unearthed that 40% of staff members were putting in an average of 642 additional hours – which equates to 26 extra days – since lockdown began back in March.

With fewer people commuting into central office spaces, the research found that 60% of staff are now using the time that would have been spent travelling to catch up on work.
