Morrisons | Worker fired after 'racial remarks' video goes viral

An employee at the supermarket chain Morrisons has reportedly been fired after she was caught on video racially targeting a customer in the store.

According to the Daily Mail, the employee was verbally abusive towards a black customer and can be heard calling him a 'black c***' as security tried to hold the man back and staff attempted to restrain the worker based in the Palmers Green, London, store.

A spokesperson for the store said: “The individual in question no longer works for Morrisons.”

During the video, a man can be seen being constrained by security as a woman off-camera is heard shouting expletive racial language, which the black customer responds to saying: “They are going to have to sack you.”
