4 in 10 Brits still expect THIS in the next year

The coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on employers, employees and the UK economy.

In fact, the FT Adviser recently reported that the UK had crashed into a “deep recession” after the coronavirus lockdown period resulted in the economy suffering its worst quarterly fall since records began.

Despite the coronavirus crisis setting back the economy, new research has revealed that four in ten (41.3%) Brits still expect a pay rise in the next 12 months from their employer.

The data from CV-Library found that professionals aged between 25 and 34-years-old felt most confident about receiving a pay rise (59.7%), which was closely followed by workers aged 18 to 24-years-old (44.9%).
