To boost employee mental health, particularly during the pandemic, a US-based insurance firm has offered animal-loving staff members a whopping £228 ($300) stipend to adopt a new pet.
The New York Post reported that firm The Zebra will cover expenses up to £228 ($300) annually to help those who are welcoming a new cat or dog into the family.
This will ensure that ‘pet parents’ spend more time bonding with the new addition to the family rather than worrying about the costs associated with their new furry friend.
