Lawyer responds to 'toxic' Ellen DeGeneres scandal

American comedian and television host Ellen DeGeneres has been embroiled in allegations of a toxic workplace culture on the set of her TV programme The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

It is now at the centre of a new controversy, as claims of sexual harassment have also been raised by numerous former employees.

Reported by Buzzfeed News, Kevin Leman, Head Writer and Executive Producer, has been accused of allegedly asking an ex-employee to perform sexual acts on him at a company party, plus at least two more accounts of groping production assistants.

Around 12 former employees also shared that Leman would ask junior workers sexually explicit questions in the office in front of everyone, meanwhile Jonathan Norman, another Executive Producer, has also been accused of attempting to sexually assault a staff member.
