When the stress of work gets too much, the mental anxiety that goes hand in hand can penetrate every area of your life.
Those who find themselves unable to detach from their professional woes, even when spending time with family and friends, often feel emotionally exhausted from the toll of such stress, with one common side effect being stress dreams.
According to research conducted by Psychology Today in 2018, around half of all workers commonly experience work-related stress dreams, especially concentrated around deadlines and the launches of new products or services.

Common fixtures of work-related stress dreams, according to a recent poll of 2,000 UK adults conducted by Bed SOS, include being late for work, which 23% of respondents identified with, and simply being in the work environment, and all the stresses that commonly come along with that, which 25% of respondents experienced regularly.
