Claims workers weren't told before lay-off news hit Twitter

The coronavirus pandemic has created a wealth of uncertainty for businesses about how they can continue trading during this turbulent time.

In addition, it has created a lot of anxiety for staff members, many of whom are left questioning what the pandemic means for their tenure going forwards.

During this time, some employers are making difficult decisions regards the size of their workforce, and this may result in some employees losing their jobs.

One of these firms is luxury carmaker Bentley, which is set to cull 1,000 UK jobs as the car industry faces a sharp drop in sales due to the pandemic, according to the BBC.
