Despite the unknown lasting impact of the coronavirus pandemic, employer confidence started to pick back up in May as lockdown restrictions eased, with job vacancies rising by 5.9% month-on-month across the UK, new data from jobs board CV-Library has found.
The data assessed the UK jobs market throughout May and compared it with figures from the previous month and year to build an understanding of how the labour market is fairing right now. The data was then broken down by areas to ascertain where in the UK recruitment is the strongest:
