For businesses today, there is no escaping digital transformation. A constant wave of technology is being rolled out in a bid to help organisations develop and strengthen internal processes. Tech Pro research discovered that over 70% of HR directors are either in the process of implementing transformation or plan to do so imminently.

While these technological developments may be welcomed by heads of departments, it’s crucial that employers give their workers a voice when it comes to using this technology and embarking on a digital transformation journey. Otherwise, it is likely to cause problems.

For example, new tech initiatives have failed in the past because employees weren’t involved in the process, according to Forbes. The problems that arose from a lack of employee input ranged from helping to design a solution to their problems or providing regular feedback on what’s working. All of this vital information can make a huge difference when it comes to rolling out new technology and getting it right.

However, as such a vast and potentially daunting project, the largest issue for most HR leaders is knowing where to start; luckily, this is one of the key concepts being discussed at HR Grapevine’s conference, which takes place on March 12 2020 at The Brewery in London.
