On occasion, employees may be asked to carry out overtime such as staying late at work to meet a deadline or attend an after-work event.
While this may be the case for some, workers at the restaurant chain Nando’s have hit out at their employer claiming that they have to clean toilets without receiving any pay.
According to the BBC, both former and current workers at Nando’s stated that they had to clean cookers and disinfect toilets after being clocked out from duties.

Despite these allegations, Nando’s said that it was its policy to pay employees properly and upholds the highest cleaning standards within its chain of restaurants.
