Disconnect | Over half of staff have no say in business decisions

The vast majority of British employees say that they have no influence in shaping the direction of their organisation, new research has found.

The Unit4 study – which polled over 1,800 employees in seven countries including the UK – found that over 57% of UK workers felt that they had no say in the direction of their organisation and only one-tenth of non-managers worldwide felt comfortable giving criticism on the business' direction to managers.

However, despite this issue being rife in various areas of Europe, the UK seems to be the place in which the C-Suite is most distant and non-communicative for company employees.
