'Stop judging me for leaving the office at 5pm'

When the clock strikes 5pm it signals the end of the working day, with employees wanting nothing more than to jump up from their desks and head home.

However, this urgency to leave on time every day on occasion can be frowned upon, as co-workers and employers assume that their staff will want to put in extra time every afternoon to get their tasks done.

One employee has since hit out at her colleagues and employers to stop judging her for ‘leaving the office at exactly 5pm’.

Sharing a thank you letter to those who have shown her ‘grace’ on website Love What Matters, the mum known as Jamie said: “Please stop judging me for leaving the office at exactly 5 p.m., but my kids are waiting to be picked up from the sitter.
