Lack of 'relevant candidates' impacts hiring

New research has discovered that 81.5% of recruiters believe that a lack of relevant candidates is impacting their recruitment efforts right now, reports CV-Library.

Despite this, 85.4% of respondents to the job board’s recent study claimed that they still feel confident about hiring in 2020.

In the study of over 300 recruitment professionals, it revealed that almost two-thirds (63.8%) of recruiters plan on increasing their level of hiring in 2020, this is despite the fact that 61.9% claimed that their budgets will remain the same.

In addition, the research quizzed recruiters on what their top recruiting priorities are for 2020. 69.6% cited attracting higher-quality candidates as a top priority, while 35.6% claimed building talent pools for the future was more important.
