Interviews have the ability to make even the most confident of individuals feel nervous, which can lead us to make mistakes we would never ordinarily dream of.
Whether that’s calling the hiring manager the incorrect name by accident or reading directions wrong that cause us to be late, nerves can often get the better of us.
For one interviewee, this may have been the case. In a post shared by Realtionships.txt on Twitter, a 17-year-old interviewee revealed that he was attending his interview for Yale University but was under the impression that the interviewer liked him and was giving him ‘the look’.
“We ended up chatting for nearly three hours, and most of our conversation wasn’t even remotely about Yale – just random things about ourselves. Towards the end of the interview, I had a strange urge to go in for a kiss (sic),” he wrote.
