A Muslim fast food worker claimed she experienced ‘discrimination at its finest’ after she was allegedly sent home for wearing a hijab to work – Metro reported.
The Chicken Express worker at a restaurant in Dallas, who recently converted to Islam, claimed she was told that wearing a hijab was not a part of the “dress code” and that she wasn’t allowed to wear it at work.
In a video clip posted on Twitter, showing a quarrel between Folake Adebola and her boss, she can be heard saying: “It’s a part of my religion.
“I felt like if i work here y’all could be able to (accommodate) my religion (sic).”
