The Christmas period is often viewed as a prime opportunity for employers to reward their staff and show appreciation for their hard work throughout the year.
Some employers may opt for an all-expenses-paid-for Christmas knees-up while others may wish to give their staff a gift of some description.
But according to research conducted by corporate gifting platform, Snappy, almost 90% of employees said that they have faked a positive reaction to a gift that they received from their employer.
