It isn’t uncommon for boss’ to give employees gifts during the festive period.
Whether it is a small gift of appreciation, a retail voucher or even a lavish Christmas party for the whole workforce to enjoy together, employers have gone to great lengths to engage and retain employees.
Yet, unsuspecting employees at one real estate firm received a Christmas bonus like no other.
Founder of St. John Properties, Edward St. John, shocked the firm’s 198-strong workforce with a collective £7.5million ($10million) bonus that was announced during the firm’s annual Christmas knees-up – ABC News reported.
