For most employees, a lunch break during the working week will consist of gobbling up last night’s leftovers, catching up with friends over a coffee, going to the gym, catching up on a new Netflix series or working through the list of inescapable life admin tasks.
Yet, for two road workers who work out and about laying tar around the roads in Greater Manchester, their lunchtime antics really are something to marvel at.
Each day, the pair cook their work lunch by covering it in foil and burying it under a pile of hot tarmac – The Mirror reported.
