General Election | Which political party has pledged to review IR35?

Tuesday night’s leadership debate between Jeremy Corbyn and Boris Johnson ramped the General Election 2019 up a notch – with supporters from both the Labour and Conservative parties claiming a win for their ‘guy’.

However, an election isn’t just about sparring between leaders. Keen politicos won’t just be keyed into clashes aired on ITV, Sky News, BBC they will also scrutinise what is promised in manifestos – the do if they get into power.

Whilst recruiters will likely have differing political persuasions – they are a diverse bunch after all – one pledge has a potential impact for their profession.

The Liberal Democrats, led by Jo Swinson, have promised to look into Off-Payroll rules, should they enter into power.
