Throughout an employee’s tenure, there are many tasks that they will have had to complete, such as monotonous admin work, attending after-work events, or even getting roped into making a round of hot drinks.
While they may not be set out in a contract, sometimes there are parts of the job that employees may have to grin and bear.
But, one employee took to the Mumsnet forum to explain that she had been regularly asked to do something that she really didn’t want to: use her personal social media accounts to promote the business.
User Sockypuppet explained in her memo: “Boss/owner regularly asks us to use our personal WhatsApp and Facebook accounts to promote his business.
