The proliferation of technology has had a dramatic impact on the world of recruitment. From applicant tracking systems (ATS) to AI selection tools, each of these new advancements purport to make the recruitment process more streamlined and efficient.
But it seems that jobseekers do not trust these new advancements or robot recruiters. This has been found in a new study researched and authored by James Wright from the international executive search firm, Carmichael Fisher, in association with the West East Institute (WEI).
The findings of the report – The impact of artificial intelligence within the recruitment industry: Defining a new way of recruiting – discovered that 86% of jobseekers would rather a human looked at their CV than a robot.
Similarly, nine in 10 candidates prefer a human to conduct a job interview while one in 10 said that they actively dislike video interviews.
