When an employee is struggling at work or has a question, they are often encouraged to sit down with their line manager or HR to come up with a solution.
Yet, it seems that workers are increasingly seeking help from Google when it comes to handling conflicts with co-workers or conducting themselves professionally when they fancy a colleague.
New research from Viking Direct revealed that complaints, crushes and conflicts were among the most searched-for terms that employees Google about their colleagues.
When it came to colleagues, office politics dominated the list with “How to resolve conflict with a colleague” and “How to work with a colleague who undermines you” both generating 50 searches within a month.
