When a new recruit starts working for a business, their employee handbook will outline the rules and regulations that they are obligated to follow.
This will give the employee information relating to the day-to-day completion of their job, indicate towards health and safety procedures and may even highlight the dos and don’ts on social media.
Yet, an employee who posted a work-related video online for fun was allegedly fired after ‘exposing’ how bakery firm Panera Bread prepared mac and cheese – People.com reported.
Ex-employee Brianna Ramirez garnered over six million views for giving social media users an insider into the preparation process of one of its products in a video titled “exposing Panera”. This video received mixed reviews from social media users, some of whom felt misled by the chain for dishing up frozen food.
