Sadly, stereotypes among professionals is rife within the workplace. You only need to take a look at the tech or banking industry to understand why it is perceived to be a heavily male-dominated market.
However, Mattel, the toy manufacturer of the iconic Barbie, has developed a new doll as it hopes to promote a better equal representation for both genders from an early age.
Previously the company has supported issues such as disability and gender with the release of a gender-neutral and disabled Barbie, and now Mattel is encouraging young girls to aim for different careers that may counter stereotypically female roles.
With the release of Judge Barbie, Mattel hopes that girls will opt to work in different industries such as the legal field which currently lacks female employees, reported Metro.
