Every employee has the right to be treated fairly and with respect at work.

While this is a moral obligation of the employer it is also a legal obligation too. Under the Equality Act 2010, it is unlawful to discriminate against employees because of their race. In the UK, this also includes nationality, ethnicity and national origin.
