According to a 2018 report researched by IBE, UK workers are amongst the most hard-working and most pressured workers in Europe.
The report stated that Brits are close to working the longest hours, work the most unpaid overtime and experience the most burnout of any nation in the EU.
One in ten respondents stated that they’ve felt some form of pressure to compromise their organisation’s standards of ethical behaviour, whilst 77% stated that their bosses weren’t honest.

However, it seems that not all areas of the UK hold themselves to the same standard. In fact, a survey of 2,000 UK workers by jobs board CV-Library has found that four in ten (38%) regularly slack-off in the office, whilst one in five (19%) believe that they can easily get away with it.
