More than three quarters (76%) of jobseekers aspire to work for firms with a good reputation, new research has found.
The latest business reputation survey Everyone’s Business by the CBI, in collaboration with Porter Novelli and Opinium, revealed that overall business reputation has improved by four points to 60% since September 2018 – Onrec reported. This is a good sign given the importance of a good reputation to the public.
The survey data unearthed that 79% of UK adults are less likely to buy products or services from a company with bad reputations, so keeping reputation tip-top is important for recruiters wanting to stay ahead of the curve.
Josh Hardie, CBI Deputy Director General said that businesses are well aware that reputation is their “lifeblood”. He explained: “After another difficult year for firms, it’s great to see evidence that their hard work to support employees and keep the UK growing is recognised by the public. Our latest tracker shows an uptick in its reputation from last year.
