A comprehensive study recently conducted by WellSteps found that the return on investment (ROI) of workplace wellbeing programmes is 3.27 times higher than those without.
This means that for every pound spent on employee wellbeing, the company has made, or saved, £3.27. This is a trend that most companies have taken on board and as a result, the Society for Human Resource Management states that 75% of employers indicated that their companies have offered some form of wellness programme.
And the results are positive; a survey by Virgin Health found that 77% of employees believe that employee wellbeing programmes positively impact the company, and make them happier in the workplace, whilst 87% confirmed that when looking for a new job, such benefits played a significant part in their decision.

So, it’s safe to say that wellbeing programs are an unmitigated success, and that the industry is very much growing. This relatively new sector is an ideal launchpad for professionals looking to forge a new career path in an interesting market, and one such opportunity that may not have even existed in years past is a ‘professional whisperer’.
