Tomorrowland | Festival workers allegedly sold drugs

Workers at the Belgian music festival Tomorrowland have allegedly admitted to selling drugs at work – DJMag reported.

The news came after two crew members were anonymously interviewed by Belgian broadcaster VTM News. They reportedly shared that “crew members deliberately work for the festival to deal drugs” adding that one worker alone sold a considerable number of drugs.

Reports have alleged that over 60 people were caught selling drugs on-site during the festival, which took place during July this year, despite the festival’s claiming that it thoroughly screened each crew member before they started work, according to The Brussels Times.

A Spokesperson for Tomorrowland said in a statement: "We emphasise that the zero-tolerance policy also applies to all our 10,000 employees. Checks are carried out at the crew during set-up and festival days, at the crew entrances and exits and at the crew campsite.
