The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) stars have threatened to strike over their £100-a-day pay packets – The Sun reports.
However, after some of the show’s biggest names reportedly refused to attend ITV’s summer party and tore up invites in protest, bosses were said to have panicked and increased their wages within 24 hours to curb any delays to filming.
One cast member told The Sun anonymously that they felt their pay was insubstantial in comparison to other stars on the channel.

They explained: “We gave TOWIE bosses an ultimatum — pay us or we won’t work. We all refused as a group to go to the ITV summer party.
