Employee found dead in 'unofficial break' location

A supermarket worker who went missing a decade ago was found dead behind a freezer – a spot where, unofficially, employees were said to take breaks.

The Mirror reported that the primary theory from investigators is that Larry Ely Murillo-Moncada – who was reported missing in 2009 – ended up dying in a place used to store stock.

It is then assumed that he fell into the 18-inch gap between the back of the freezer and the wall which is thought to be how he became stuck.

Investigators alleged that even if Murillo-Moncada had called for help, loud noises from the coolers’ compressors would have drowned it out.
