CEO axed for emailing rap lyrics to over 4,000 colleagues

The CEO of Iowa’s Department Human Services has been axed after bombarding colleagues for two years with emails quoting the late rapper Tupac Shakur's song lyrics – The Independent reported.

It is understood that last month's antics acted as the last straw after Jerry Foxhoven circulated a message to 4,300 colleagues telling them to celebrate the rapper’s birthday by playing one of his songs in memory.

The publication reported that the State Governor, Kim Reynolds asked him to resign the following day.

However, Reynolds has since explained that Foxhoven’s dismissal was a result of a ‘number of factors’.
