Adobe, Facebook and Southwest Airlines ranked top in the Top-Rated Workplaces in 2019 according to employees.

The research by Indeed analysed 150million employee reviews and ratings based on their “overall workplace experience” from those who have worked for some of the largest employers around the world.

Thrillist reported that the research specifically took into account employers featuring in this year's Fortune 500 list.

What did 2019’s top-rated workplaces have in common?

In a blog post, Indeed identified a recurring theme in this year’s rankings, one which placed great importance on having an enjoyable working environment, whether this is demonstrated by a fun office environment, a strong company culture, good support mechanisms or a good moral grounding. Afterall, a positive work environment leads to greater productivity and retention rates so there are huge business benefits too.
