Talent | Boss slams 'depressed snowflakes' in savage job ad

A boss has posted a savage job advert warning ‘depressed snowflakes’, phone addicts and women with 'psycho boyfriends' not to bother applying – Daily Mail reported.

Gerald O’Shaughnessy, who heads an online advertising company, was looking to expand his social media marketing workforce but became frustrated finding inadequate talent. He posted a video advert online which quickly went viral.

What may have been created to draw in suitable talent – as it started off telling potential recruits about what they can expect from the role as well as work perks – O’Shaughnessy went on a rampage about the type of candidate he really doesn’t want.

He said: “What I’m not looking for is the following: I’m not looking for somebody who has an anxiety and depression disorder that kicks in right around Monday after the weekend. Obviously anxiety and depression is a really serious issue affecting a lot of people but not if you’re going out at the weekend and then taking various pharmaceuticals – then it’s self-inflicted.
