BBC's sky-high salaries reveal SHOCKING discrepancies

The BBC has received huge backlash after the public broadcaster announced the salaries of some of its highest paid staff – The Sun reports.

This week, the broadcasting behemoth published the official salaries of those on more than £150,000 a year, however, the company has since been slammed by critics who say the BBC’s list still demonstrates a clear gender pay gap.

Meanwhile, others, such as The Sun, have claimed that the list has ignored secret payments to stars made through its commercial arm BBC Studios.

In the list it was revealed that sports Broadcaster Gary Lineker was the highest earner with an annual salary of £1.75million. He was closely followed by Chris Evans who made £1.25million before his departure from the broadcaster in December 2018.
