Environment | 70% of staff want employers to boost sustainable practices

Almost three quarters of office workers (73%) want their employer to improve sustainability policies, according to new research.

And, a worry for HR departments, 24% would refuse a job offer at an organisation with historically poor sustainability records.

The research, carried out by video production firm TopLine Film, which polled 1,000 office workers, marks the United Nation’s 46^th World Environment Day and highlights the importance of sustainable business practices - not only as a way of protecting the environment but also as a tool to attract and retain employees.
