Economy | UNLEASH conference keynote gives stark Brexit warning

Speaking on, amongst other things, the threat to Britain’s workers in his opening speech at UNLEASH's conference, the firm's Chief Economist Daniel Thorniley shared his thoughts not just on the concept of Brexit, but on the politicians who actioned it.

“I’ve never seen such incompetence in the British political class,” he stated to a packed crowd at London’s Excel Exhibition Centre on Tuesday morning.

“This isn’t an attack on just Theresa May or Jeremy Corbyn, this is an attack on all of them. If ineptitude was a crime, then this whole political generation would be bankrupt.”

Thorniley, who founded DT Global Business Consulting and has over 25 years of experience in consultancy and journalistic work, went on to warn against the financial fallout of Brexit, and the stark effect he predicts that it will have on workers.
