If a candidate hasn’t been to a job interview for a while, they may feel disjointed on how the recruitment process actually works. But, with more technology in place, there may be an easier way for candidates to tackle their job search.
Amazon’s virtual personal assistant, Alexa, has been around for about four years now, but as technology becomes increasingly sophisticated, the opportunities provided by this simulated tool have have been heightened. While its presence in the home and personal lives of users has burgeoned, it seems that the talking chatbot has more uses than queuing songs on Spotify playlists and dimming the lights at the mere sound of a registered voice.

According to an article published on lifehacker.com, Alexa has huge uses when it comes to preparing for a job interview. If the candidate doesn’t have a human companion to rehearse and perfect interview responses, then Alexa is the ideal compromise - apparently.
Interview Prep is an Alexa skill that candidates can take advantage of. It has hundreds of different interview questions for various job types and industry sectors. The site uses the example of asking Alexa to pull up questions related to job performance or management to help the candidate practice.
