UK workers are struggling to make ends meet – with over half feeling stressed and overworked, according to a new report.
‘Labour Market Realities 2019: Insecurity, stress & Brexit’, published by the Centre for Labour and Social Studies (CLASS), found that over a third of workers were struggling to meet basic costs of living.
For London workers, this rose to almost a half. Furthermore, nearly 60% of workers find their job stressful and nearly half have noted an increased in their workload over the last year.
