The top 10 bad workplace habits employees want to ditch

We’re already in the second week of February, which means that most of our New Year’s resolutions have long been abandoned. However, there’s no time like the present to ditch bad office habits – and researchers from CV-Library have found the top most irritating workplace traditions that workers would love to bin off for good.

Here’s a list of the top ten worst habits, plus the percentage of people who want to kick them to the kerb:

1. 9-5 working hours (53%) 

Fix it: Erik Fjellborg, CEO and Founder of Quinyx, said employers need to change their attitudes towards flexibility. “Flexibility does not need to mean increased costs and logistical nightmares; in fact, with the right tools in place, it’s simple and economical,” he said. “And by increasing flexibility, employers will give workers a voice and a choice, ultimately increasing productivity, retention and their overall performance.”
