Tow truck driver brawl highlights need for conflict management

Tow truck drivers from rival companies engaged in a violent altercation when they both showed up for the same towing job – the Mail reports.

The altercation quickly escalated from a violent exchange of words to an aggressive physical brawl at a site just outside of Perth, Western Australia.

According to 9 News, one driver was reportedly ‘knocked over and stomped on’ and the injured driver allegedly had his truck keys stolen – which meant that a separate truck from that company was called to tow the damaged vehicle away.

But it seems that neither company are willing to accept responsibility on behalf of their drivers for this altercation, so a police investigation has been launched.
