Josh Bersin, Founder of Bersin by Deloitte and Global Industry Analyst has revealed that the economy should be a key concern for HR professionals as the new year begins.

“In all my years as an analyst and consultant in the world of HR, there’s one thing I’ve learned: the economy impacts our workforce strategies more than almost anything else,” Bersin wrote on his blog. “And this year, in 2019, the economy is more important than ever.”

With that in mind, here are his top three predictions for 2019, and how HR should prepare themselves to manage them:

Wage stagnation and income inequality is making the world less fair
